VRS O2 Barrier Film
VRS is an oxygen barrier film that is used to inhibit the exchange of silage gasses. The film is 3ml thick and more resistant to tearing than thinner films. It is placed beneath the regular bunker cover sheet as it does not contain any UV inhibitors.
Farmers have said that they have a visible reduction of surface waste with the use of an Oxygen barrier film under the bunker cover. If you keep more of the feed you store and get better production from your cows, then its probably paying for itself.
